Technical Information

CompacSas provides automatic door operation with no manual operation needed, meaning the vandal resistant unit is able to securely function with minimal operation day-to-day. The interlock functions by opening the outer external doors, letting someone in and running a detection. If nothing is identified, the inner door is safely opened. The EV Model is extremely versatile, allowing the front doors of the Sas Unit to be removed and instead connected into an existing door on the premises – creating a half-interlock.

Optimizes installation cost by using a 10” colour tablet to select the operating mode and change settings.

Activation and Control

Opening requests can be issued by commands from call buttons, presence detection equipment and/or access control equipment (card readers and biometrics)

Colours and Finishes

Powder coat painted in grey, aluminium, white with granite finishes on Walls and Ceiling. Other RAL colours are available for doors to match any corporate branding requirements.

Resistance Level

CompacSas EV provides Manual Attack Resistance to EN 356 P2A, P6B and EN 1627 level RC2. Ballistic resistance EN 1063 to BR4-S and Fire Resistance to EN 1634-1 EI2 for 30 minutes.
