Manual Attack Protection

Manual attack protection is measured against sustained attack by professional invaders using a variety of machinery such as drills. Manual Attack protection is rated by the European Standard (EN) and Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) with the higher the numerical rating meaning a higher level of protection on offer.

Manual Attack Resistance in accordance with EN 1627 are classified in RC1-6, offering:

  • Resistance to a static charge (EN 1628)
  • Resistance to a dynamic charge (EN 1629)
  • Resistance to manual break-in (EN 1630)

Manual Attack Resistance in accordance with the EN 356 standard is classified as:

  • Resistant to vandalism (P1A – P5A)
  • Resistant to break-in (P6B – P8B)
