Company Profile

Safetell designs, develops, installs, and maintains a diverse range of physical security solutions to a wide range of sectors. Safetell’s exemplary service, combined with a range of products ensure each solution meets the client’s requirements. More importantly, it means we create enduring partnerships, meaning customers rely on Safetell’s consultative approach to protection, as their needs change over the years. Safetell was founded in 1989 when it began providing bullet-resistant fast rising screens to protect high street banks against armed robbery. Since then, we have installed over 3,000 screens in branches nationwide and developed a range of products to meet the ever-changing demands of asset protection. While our product range has changed over the decades, we still provide the same ‘cradle to grave’ service from initial site survey, through to ongoing maintenance and support. We are a part of Newmark Security PLC, a leading security solutions Group. The Group’s overarching focus is personal security and protection of assets globally, and we draw upon this best-practice to engineer and support the best means of protecting our customers and their assets.

Our Products

Our team of security experts call upon our broad product range to ensure we engineer a solution that is tailored to the type of threat posed. These products are built into four distinct categories for ease of specification.

Our Service

Our service division provides the UK with complete maintenance call out services for all of our products, and even products by other manufacturers. We provide major high street brands with nationwide 24/7 lock repair, CCTV and access control support and our customers rely on us for repair and maintenance of night pay hatches, cash drawers, tills, and speech transfer units. Our dedicated in-house support, comprehensive stock levels and decades of engineering knowledge mean that 95% of our services, repairs for products (Safetell and competitor), can be carried out on the first visit.

Our Approach

Protecting people and assets is a multi-billion pound industry, with many different approaches to mitigating emerging and existing threats. Therefore, the choice can be a bewildering prospect for some, but we believe our simple, impartial approach ensures our customers get the protection they require with minimal impact on budget or working practices.

We call it ‘Deter and Delay by Design’.

There are four elements of protecting staff and assets:

It is a strategy designed to protect and secure you now, to alleviate costs in the future. Our expansive product range, from Physical Security to CCTV and Access Control, is built around this core principle. By focusing on the Deter and Delay element of Security Management, we can help cater to your exact needs to help prevent the potential expenses brought on by the Detect and Response elements. It is key to remember crime is a moving target and regular checks are necessary because your infrastructure is only as secure as your neighbour’s. If businesses around you are strengthening security, crime will be displaced from them to you. Our Physical Security products delay intruders, leaving criminals vulnerable to be picked up by the authorities.

What is Cost Effective Security?

The value of benefits derived from the security system must be at least equal to the cost of the security system (including its ongoing maintenance costs). However, the cost of an incident must be considered and some of the cost is difficult to estimate in advance.

These costs could include the following:

Certification

We are certified to the standards of ISO 9000, which demonstrates our commitment to providing a high level of customer satisfaction. It also reflects upon our effective quality management system, which satisfies the rigors of an independent, external audit. In addition, we are NSI GOLD and NACOSS GOLD approved, which means that we are independently verified as meeting industry standards. Such approval is only given to those companies that are able to consistently meet NSI’s exacting standards.
