Access Locked Down with Tipton & Coseley's New Solution
Provide regulated, controlled access to a bespoke two-door solution
Provided an access control solution for the banking back-office, utilising two highly resistant Staffline security doors, in addition to replacing an external fire door.
Secure access is an integral part of the day-to-day operation of running a Building Society, especially for a local company with a long-standing relationship to their customer-base, where personal interaction and a relaxed-yet-secure environment is key to the current and on-going success of the business.
Located, appropriately, in the West Midlands town of Tipton, the head office of Tipton & Coseley Building Society has been operating in its purpose-built office since 1994. This central office has provided a great place to work for staff, but the time had come to upgrade the security systems in place to respond to the modern threats facing all organisation’s.
In the summer of 2017, physical security specialist Safetell was appointed by Tipton & Coseley Building Society as an electronic security integrator with a view to install an access control system to help form a secure interlock, forging an airlock space between two doors.
Safetell offers a large array of security solutions and was able to specify a new external bullet-resistant STALWART Steel Security Door and Frame bespoke designed to meet the requirements of the building.
STALWART Steel Doors can be custom-constructed to a wide variety of requirements, including locking, RAL paint options and resistance levels, such as manual attack, bullet, and blast resistance, allowing for unique solutions to be seamlessly integrated into any organisations security and branding requirements.
Working in combination with the newly installed steel door, Tipton & Coseley chose the SATEON access control system to easily configure an interlocking door solution, future-proofing the organisation for additional door support as business requirements evolve over time. SATEON is a browser-based solution that requires minimal installation, with a user-friendly interface that makes it easy-to-use for the Tipton & Coseley team.
Paul Wakeling, Business Development Manager at Safetell, noted “Tipton & Coseley was a great partnership. We were able to work together to identify a tailored solution for their head office building, allowing our team move in, install the access control and doors and leave in no time at all.”
Safetell is proud to offer a consultative approach to physical and electronic security solutions.
