Field Service Technician – West Midlands

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week plus overtime

Reporting to: Head of Customer Delivery

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing technical support to our clients.

You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem solving. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Field Service Technician are:

  • BSEN16005 accreditation – Desirable.
  • Recent experience with Automatic Doors (Swing/Slide) – Desirable.
  • Field Service experience within mechanical electrical environment preferable.
  • IT skills (Proficient in mobile device/tablet use).
  • Ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipment.
  • Positive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and fellow team members & willingness to support other technicians in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers.
  • Full UK Driving License.
